Maël Goarzin

maël-goarzinAfter several years of study in Paris, where he developed his affinity for philosophy, Maël continued his studies in Switzerland at the University of Lausanne, where he is now a doctoral student. After teaching philosophy at high school for one year, he is currently an assistant at the University of Lausanne. Particularly interested in classical philosophy, his research focuses on the intersection between philosophy and religion, in a period between Antiquity and the Middle Ages. His doctoral work concerns biographies in Late Antiquity, philosophers’ lives and saints’ lives, which allows him to discover a certain ethical model for everyday life.
